Our region provides numerous possibilities for short trips or day trips for families as well as pensioners.

You can go to Dresden, the world-famous Baroque town, to Meißen – the city of the European porcelain. Another destination could be Pillnitz with the summer residence of August the Strong. Or you discover the lovely wine-town Radebeul with its vineyards and the Karl-May-Museum. Also the Saxon Switzerland is a worthwhile sight to visit. You can reach all these sights by ship, by train or by car.

Also the small town Coswig holds a lot of sights to reach by foot– the Villa Teresa, the old church, the Baroque Church of Brockwitz, the town museum, and the Peter and Paul’s Church.
